TAtlasPlotKind

How a TAtlasPlotSeries is drawn: line, step, area, bar, point or pie.

Enumeration Unit Atlas.PlotSeries · Product Atlas Plot

Description

Value of TAtlasPlotSeries.Kind and the Kind argument of TAtlasPlot.AddSeries. In CSV the kinds are written without the prefix, in lower case (line, step, ...). Kinds can be mixed freely in one cartesian chart; a pie is only drawn when it is the first visible series, and then alone.

Members

MemberKindWhat it does
pkLinevalueStraight segments joining the points in the order they were added.
pkStepvalueEach value holds until the next point's argument, where the line jumps vertically to the next value.
pkAreavalueA line with the region down to zero (or to the series below when stacked, or the bottom of a logarithmic axis) filled in the series colour mixed with the background.
pkBarvalueA bar from zero (or the stack below) to each value.
pkPointvalueA dot at each point, no line.
pkPievalueOne slice per positive value, starting at twelve o'clock and running clockwise, coloured from the palette by point index or by the point's Color.

Values

pkLine value

pkLine

Straight segments joining the points in the order they were added. Gaps break the line. The default.

pkStep value

pkStep

Each value holds until the next point's argument, where the line jumps vertically to the next value.

pkArea value

pkArea

A line with the region down to zero (or to the series below when stacked, or the bottom of a logarithmic axis) filled in the series colour mixed with the background.

pkBar value

pkBar

A bar from zero (or the stack below) to each value. Bars of several series at one argument are grouped side by side unless Stacking is set; the group takes 70 % of the closest spacing between bar arguments.

pkPoint value

pkPoint

A dot at each point, no line. The dot radius grows with LineWidth.

pkPie value

pkPie

One slice per positive value, starting at twelve o'clock and running clockwise, coloured from the palette by point index or by the point's Color. Negative values are rejected; zero values and gaps draw no slice.

Examples

Mix kinds in one chart

Bars with a line and a point series on the same axes.
